LIVE INTERVIEW In Tamarah’s Closet: Introducing Nina Noir
Enjoy the replay of my LIVE Interview with singer Nina Noir, from San Jose, California.
Nina Noir is a full time professional singer, actress, model, and dancer. Her main passion is music and in June of 2011, she appeared on America’s Got Talent receiving high praise from Sharon Ozbourne, “[Nina has] a great voice, a really great voice! And nice long legs.”
She was hand selected by Geoff Tate for the Queensryche 25th Anniversary Operation: Mindcrime Tour after recording on their album Frequency Unknown. She was a celebrity guest singer on the tour and sang a duet with Geoff on the band’s epic song Suite Sister Mary. Recently, she has performed with Bollywood Pop Icon, Atif Aslam at the San Jose Civic Auditorium. This was a welcome surprise after spending 2 years as an international cover model for the Indian magazine, Nirvana Women.
She is also a classically trained Opera singer and has worked with some of the most elite vocal coaches in the world, including the famous Seth Riggs. He has trained international icons such as Madonna, Amy Lee of Evanescence, Natalie King Cole, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, and many many more.
Nina Noir is primarily a songwriter and lends a hand directing others’ projects with writing, recording in the studio, and in rehearsing for live performances. Her production company, Stellar Studios, works with artists to create full scale music videos and live recordings for every budget.
She is currently fronting an all female Queen tribute called The Killer Queens as Frederica Mercury. The girls have headlined sold out shows at the House of Blues, Northstar Ski Resort, Harrah’s Casinos, and was invited to play at the prestigious NAMM Show in 2015. The one thing that Nina is most proud of is her music school, Stellar School of Music. Seeing the public school system give up on the arts, Nina decided it was time to give back and encourage the next generation of artists.
To your own success, rock it!
